Why Shraddha’s styles work for her…
Shraddha Kapoor has a versatile face and so can carry off any hairstyle be it a simple braid or an up-do, curly or straight, long or short.
Her hair type is also on the wavy side and the density is not so fine, so styling her hair open would last much longer as compared to someone with finer hair.
What face shapes will they suit?
Both straight and wavy hairstyles would look good on all face shapes but the layering technique and the length would alter depending on characteristics like age, overall frame, personality and job profile. For example, if someone has wavy to curly hair and a strong square jaw line, a mid-length hairstyle would soften the squareness of the jaw bone.
How to get Shraddha Kapoor’s straight hair tousled look…
l Shampoo and condition hair lightly with volumising products
l After towel-drying the hair, apply a volumising mousse throughout the hair
l With a round brush, blow dry the hair straight up adding lift to the roots, straight along the mid length turning the ends in.
l After the entire hair is blow-dried, tousle over and finish with hairspray
How to get Shraddha Kapoor’s beachy waves…
l Use a volumising shampoo and conditioner
l Apply some volumising mousse and blow-dry with a round brush to smoothen the hair slightly removing frizz
l Take a medium-sized curling rod iron and wrap sections of hair around it giving it beachy waves
l Another way of creating the look is by braiding the hair after applying mousse on damp hair and opening when completely dry
Haircare
Always use a shampoo and conditioner meant for your scalp and hair type.
Since Shraddha Kapoor oils her hair frequently, I would recommend a deep cleansing or clarifying shampoo and alternate it with a regular shampoo for the scalp.
For styling, a nice moisturising leave-in conditioner or a curl cream is best suited.
