There has been a lot of buzz around the remake of the 1993 blockbuster KHALNAYAK ever since Subhash Ghai first announced it in 2013. There were reports about director Sanjay Leela Bhansali acquiring the remake rights and planning to cast Ranveersingh, but he eventually dropped it.
There recently have been reports that Tiger Shroff has been roped in for the remake by Subhash Ghai, but when contacted Ghai, he denied the speculation. “We haven’t signed Tiger Shroff as it is being rumoured. We are still waiting to complete the script and will take a call only after that. I know there is a lot of excitement about the project and the script is amazing,” said the veteran filmmaker.
While Sanjay Dutt walks a clean path, much away from all possible khalnayak-ly activities, who will be playing KHALNAYAK this time?
