Father-Daughter duo Kamal Hassan and Shruti Hassan all set to clash with their respective films this May!Well come 1st May and the famous father-daughter duo Kamal Hassan and Shruti Hassan are going to fight it out.
Oh yeah! Not literally as their respective films are all set to hit the screens on the same day. Shrutiis gearing up for her action thriller film ‘Gabbar Is Back’ with Akshay Kumar which is set to hit the screens on May 1. While Daddy Kamal Hassan has his film ‘Uttama Villain’ releasing on the same day.
Though the film belong to different genres and languages it will be interesting to see the duo clash at the box office as ‘Gabbar Is Back’ is the official remake of the much acclaimed tamil film ‘Ramanna’.
When quizzed Shruti Hassan, her spokesperson confirmed the news and said, “This is the first time in Shruti s career that her film is releasing on the same day as her fathers film, though the genre and language is different-Shruti is definitely excited about the same as its all within the family”
