The 2015 IIFA Awards, which is known as the 16th International Indian Film Academy Awards honored the best films on 5th June 2015 and carried its official ceremony on 7th June 2015 in Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was aired on Indian television on 5th July 2015 on Colors TV channel at 8 pm.
The ceremony had most of B town assembled to make the night more glamorous. It also consisted of amazing performances by various celebs and a comic hosting by Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor. The awards presented for performances that stood out a tad bit better are as follows:
Best Actor: Shahid Kapoor
Best Actress: Kangana Ranaut
Best Director: Rajkumar Hirani- PK
Best Movie: Queen
