Actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who plays the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah', recently cleared the air on reports of her quitting the show and her pregnancy.
Recently, reports suggested that the actress has quit the show after she wasn't spotted with the show's unit when it returned to Mumbai from Daman post lockdown restrictions were eased.
However, Jennifer expressed displeasure over reports of her exit and said that she has been unwell for the last couple of weeks.
Terming the reports as 'loose talk', in an interview with ETimes, she also slammed those who 'jump to conclusions based on their own whims and fancies'.
Jennifer further stated that she had requested the makers to exempt her from the show's Daman schedule because she had a lot of pain in the heel. The actress added that she was on heavy medication, however, her problem did not subside soon.
Around mid-May, the actress also had a fever but it had nothing to do with COVID-19.
Jennifer also revealed that she is in touch with the makers of the show and she is ready to join the shoot once she gets a call.
Starring Dilip Joshi, Shailesh Lodha, Sunayana Fozdar, Munmun Dutta, Mandar Chandwadkar, Amit Bhatt and Sonalika Joshi among others, 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is one of the longest-running episodic shows.
The story revolves around the lives of a family living in Gokuldham Society, where they co-exist with families of different backgrounds and cultures.
It is produced by Asit Kumarr Modi and premiered on July 28, 2008.
