Ever since the making of sequel of the film ‘Student of the Year’ has been announced, the news is creating a lot of buzz among the fans. Karan Johar’s film is titled ‘Student of the year 2’ (SOTY 2), and features Tiger Shroff and newcomers Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria in the lead role.
Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, who are a popular name in the Bollywood industry at present, started their career with ‘Student of the Year’ in 2012. They were important part of the film and, hence, the makers have decided that they will also be part of the sequel ‘SOTY 2’.
Fans can rejoice over the presence of Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in ‘SOTY 2’, as they are set to perform a cameo role in the film. While it has been confirmed that both the actors will make a comeback in the film, their role has not been revealed yet.
Moreover, it is not clear if Alia would also be joining the two actors, but she had hinted a comeback in an earlier interview. When she was asked about her role in the upcoming film, she said, ““Never say never”.
The film is being shot at Dehradun and is being directed by Punit Malhotra. The shooting of first schedule of the film has been completed and the news was announced by Tiger Shroff on his Twitter handle earlier.
