Earlier we reported of how Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media sharing an adorable post of son AbRam praying to Lord Ganesha in their home. SRK captioned the picture, “Our Ganpati ‘Pappa’ is home, as the lil one calls him.” The actor is best known to embrace all religions but seems like his fans are unhappy with the gesture.

Amid these hate comments, some of the fans of SRK showed their support and slammed haters for their opinions.
Especially, veteran actress Shabana Azmi too supported SRK and showed her disappointment on Twitter. Shabana wrote, “That’s disgusting. To troll Shahrukh for this. Ganesh Ji is a deity of all Maharastrians which @iamsrk is by virtue of Mumbai being his Karma Bhumi and Gauri is Hindu.”
Needless to say that SRK has always been respecting every religion and its beliefs despite being Muslim. But, this gesture of his fans is very rude, inappropriate and make a question of being secular in India. After all, the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan is herself belongs to Hindu religion. The entire fiasco leaves a big question if India is secular yet and are we ready to accept it.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in Aanand L Rai’s Zero. In the film, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing a role of a dwarf who is in love with Katrina’s character. Zero is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018, and its trailer will reportedly be released on Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday i.e. on November 2.
