The most talked star kid Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s 23-year-old daughter, has been in the news for quite some time now. There have been speculations about her Bollywood debut since a very long time. Sara has been rumoured to be a part of lot of films though no official announcement has been made yet. The latest news is that Sara might make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to a report in DNA, Sara will finally debut in an Abhishek Kapoor film opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, which is to be produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.
“Gattu wanted a fresh pairing for his film. He decided to cast Saif’s daughter as the female lead in the film. The team has met Sara and she has liked it. She is most likely to sign on within two weeks. Ekta is very close to Sara’s mom Amrita Singh. In fact, Ekta revived her career on the small screen when she wanted to return to acting. Amrita was also seen in Ekta’s production, A Flying Jatt, as Tiger Shroff’s mom. Amrita trusts her to launch her daughter, and has given her blessings to this project”, an insider told DNA.
The report also states that the film is a love story and will go on floor next year. “Sushant was to do Abhishek’s i, but his dates weren’t available. Now, they are coming together with a love story. The film is scheduled to go on floors sometime next year,” a source told DNA.
Recently, Sara was in the news as a photo showing her in a bikini went viral online. Also, she made headlines with her rumoured relationship with Sonam Kapoor’s brother Harshvardhan.
