Shalmali Kholgade has established herself as one of the most promising young playback singers in Bollywood. Having belted out several hits like ‘Pareshaan’, ‘Daaru Desi’ and ‘Lat Lag Gayee’, the young singer is ready with her latest song ‘Aala Aala re Baji’ with Atif Afzal for Shreyas Talpade’s upcoming Marathi movie ‘Baji’.
This is the third time the duo will be seen collaborating for work, and looks like Shalmali is a lucky mascot for music director Atif Afzal.
It’s noticed that whenever she sings for him, the song becomes an instant hit! They first worked together for Marathi movie ‘Pune 52’, where she recorded ‘Jag Saare Badle’ and later on went on to record another song ‘Kap Kap Kap’a Czech song into Hindi, for a psychological thriller ‘Prague’.
Meanwhile, Atif Afzal’s next release includes ‘Monsoon Shootout’ which stars Nawazzudin Siddique and is produced by Anurag Kashyap.
