Shahid swears off actresses!

Shahid Kapur appeared on ‘Koffee With Karan’ with none other than his co-star in ‘R…Rajkumar’, Sonakshi Sinha.

Now that is food for thought, given that sitting on that controversial couch right in front of Karan sipping that brewing coffee, shooting off your mouth during the rapid fire, all laced with loads of humour, you do tend to spill the beans… And Sha-Sha was no different.

The actor had been in a long term relationship with Kareena Kapoor – now Kareena Kapoor Khan – and with Priyanka Chopra, but he has never really opened up about his alleged link-ups with Vidya Balan, Bipasha Basu, Nargis Fakhri and Anushka Sharma.

When you have a long list of girls lusting after you, it’s interesting to know who you are lusting for! When controversial Johar asked Kapoor about his future dating plans, Kapoor in a reflex said that it won’t be with an actress at least. “Not an actress… I am so done with that. I am a little scared of dating an actress for sure,” said Shahid. Hah, but some guys love living dangerously, right?

He touched upon other touchy topics too, such as his supposedly being the first choice from YRF for the film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, which he was unable to do because of date issues (of course!).

In his defence, Shahid said, “The film (‘Shuddh Desi Romance’) kept getting delayed and Maneesh Sharma (director) kept saying he is not ready to start and he felt it needed more time. I was waiting for six months. And I felt like, things are just not going to start and I had two other films which were lined up. Then I had to say I can’t wait any further and they were sure they were not ready. I have not caught up with Adi ever since that. He messaged me a few days back and said he really liked my work in ‘R…Rajkumar’ which was very kind of him.” Maybe this will be the start of a new coming-together?
