Shahid and Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ release date postponed

New Delhi: Actor Shahid Kapoor‘s upcoming comedy-drama ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, which was slated to release on September 14, will now hit the big screens on September 21 this year.

The news was shared by film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, who tweeted,”Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam… #BattiGulMeterChalu, which was slated for release on 14 Sept 2018, will now release on 21 Sept 2018… Directed by Shree Narayan Singh.”

‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is about bringing the social issue of electricity shortage to the notice of people and to encourage authorities to investigate the inaccuracies of electricity bills. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film also features Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles.
