Many Bollywood celebs have been voluntarily participating in campaigns for the welfare of farmers. Among these, Shah Rukh Khan too has decided to do his share for them. The superstar has decided to become a part of a fundraiser event, organized by director Anubhav Sinha titled ‘Son of Soil’. This duo had earlier paired for the sci-fi superhero drama  Ra.One.

Apart from SRK, others who will be performing here include, composers Vishal-Shekhar, singer Ankit Tiwari, and anchor Manish Paul. The director further revealed that all of them will be performing without remuneration. Needless to say, the money collected through the show will be donated to farmers who are currently facing an extreme financial crisis and committing suicides. ‘Son of Soil’ will be held on November 28 but Anubhav Sinha is still contemplating on the venue and the show may be held in Delhi or Mumbai, depending on the sponsorship prospects.
