‘Shab’ to premiere at New York Indian Film Fest

Mumbai: Filmmaker Onir’s “Shab” will be premiered at the New York Indian Film Festival next month. The romance-drama will be screened on May 1, which also happens to be Onir’s birthday.

“I am thrilled that the world premiere of the film is happening in New York and that too on my birthday. The New York Film Festival is special as this is the fourth time my film will be screened at the festival,” Onir said in a statement.

Set in Delhi, “Shab” is a story that revolves around the search for happiness and love of multiple characters. The film features Raveena Tandon, French actor Simon Fenay and also introduces two new actors – Ashish Bisht and Arpita Chatterjee.
