Saif Ali Khan and his first wife Amrita Singh’s talented daughter Sara Ali Khan has already begun her second film Simmba’s shooting before the release of her first film, Kedarnath. Now, reports are stating that Sara will soon be playing daughter of her real-life father Saif Ali Khan on the screen.
Yes, as per DNA report, the actress may soon sign on the dotted line for her third film, courtesy of dad Saif. Saif has been in talks with Nitin Kakkar, director of Filmistan for a film based on a father and daughter, according to DNA. The movie will be a slice-of-life relationship drama revolving around a father and his daughter.
A source revealed to DNA, “It’s a comical, but poignant take on the friendship and the equation that exists between a baap and his beti. But it will have a message, too.”
A source further added “Nitin has also approached Sara Ali Khan for the role of the daughter. This will probably be Saif and Sara’s first film together. Both of them have liked the story and have verbally given their nod. Now, the modalities and the dates need to be sorted out. Sara and Saif were Nitin’s first choices and the makers thought it would make for an interesting casting coup.”
