Salman Khan introduces Mohnish Bahl’s daughter Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal in romance drama ‘Notebook’

This year will be full of new faces making their way to Bollywood. Salman Khan himself will be introducing two newbies, Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal in his upcoming production Notebook. Pranutan is the daughter of Mohnish Bahl and granddaughter of legendary Nutan whereas Zaheer is the son of Salman’s friend Iqbal Ratnasi.

On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, Salman Khan introduced the two new debutantes with first look poster of their upcoming romance drama. The fresh pair, Pranutan and Zaheer, look so much in love in the poster. Salman not only shared the first look but also announced the trailer and film release dates.

An excited Pranutan also shared the film’s poster and captioned it, “First film, first poster..Everything is special today. Excited and thrilled to share the first chapter of our #Notebook ❤️.”

Zaheer wrote, “Presenting to you the first chapter of our #Notebook… Pehli har cheez yaadgaar hoti hai, pehle yeh sirf meri thi, ab aap sabki hai ❤???? Trailer out on 17th Feb but for now here’s our first poster, tell me what u think…”

Zaheer Iqbal who hails from a non-filmy background happens to be the first member from his family to set his foot in Bollywood. Debutante actress Pranutan was a lawyer by profession but she was always aspired to be an actor and hence she chose the acting profession. The film has been shot extensively in the backdrops of Kashmir. According to Nitin Kakkar Notebook needed a picturesque cinematic backdrop and there’s no better place than Kashmir.

Mohnish Bahl and Salman Khan have been friends since their childhood days and have worked together in hit films like Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Directed by Nitin Kakkar, Notebook is set to hit the screens on March 29, 2019.
