Saif Ali Khan fans have another treat coming up as the good-looking Nawab prepares to stride across the screen… This time, he will be seen in his new romantic comedy ‘Happy Ending’, which should be an improvement on the disaster that was ‘Humshakals’ – no laughing matter, that so-called comedy film!
The first look of ‘Happy Ending’, which has Saif Ali Khan in rugged jeans and shirt, has been released. Saif plays the role of Yudi, a Hollywood writer in the film. The first poster has Saif giving the typical ‘camera’ angle through which he may visualise his stories. In a word, cool!
The film which is set to release in November this year is a romantic comedy, which sees the actor paired opposite Ileana D’Cruz. ‘Happy Ending’ is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. It is produced by Saif and Dinesh Vijan under
their banner Illuminati Films. The film also stars Govinda and Kalki Koechlin, while Preity Zinta and even the Nawab’s real life Begum Kareena Kapoor will be seen in cameo appearances.
‘Happy Ending’ is an observation of the modern Indian man and woman. It has a take on love, relationships, marriage, friendships, plagiarism and happy endings. Hopefully the film does have a happy ending for all those involved with it!
