Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic will show his billion dreams

New Delhi: It’s raining biopics! After the life stories of MS Dhoni and Mohammad Azharuddin got their space on the big screen, here comes another biopic on a cricketer. But, it’s not an ordinary one; it’s about the God of cricket.

Sachin Tendulkar took to his Twitter handle and released the first poster of the flick, along with the caption, “Thank you for all the love and support over the years! Watch the #SRTteaseron14thApril at 1 PM on @SachinTheFilm.”

The flick has been named ‘Sachin’ and goes with the tagline ‘A Billion Dreams.’ The poster shows a man walking on the ground with leg pads and a bat in his hand.

The poster is captioned, ‘55 days of training. One pair of Trousers. The Sachin story.’ The movie is said to be shot in around 5 countries for 30 months and will release in 200 theatres across the world.

The flick is being directed by James Epskine and is being produced by Ravi Bhagchandka along with A.R. Rehman’s music.

As soon as the mater blaster released the poster of his biopic, Bollywood celebs and cricketers pumped the social media with their Tweets.

Sharing the poster, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “This one I have to watch. Show me NA soon my friend.”

Meanwhile, Virender Sehwag wrote, “Walking in with @sachin_rt was like walking wth a lion in the forest. Watch #SRTteaseron14thApril 1PM @SachinTheFilm.”

Celebs like Ranveer Singh, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Mika Singh also tweeted for the same.
