Abhay Deol has no qualms in picking up films that others have rejected. The actor is nonchalant about his choice of films and says that if there are films that he has picked up which have been rejected by others, there are films that he has rejected and that have gone to other actors.
” I did not know that Shahid Kapoor had said no to a film called ‘Raanjhanaa’before it came to me. I was aware that there was news in the market about Abhishek Bachchan having heard and said no to ‘Chakravyuh’, a film that I signed on eventually. Honestly, I have no time for petty issues like these.
I sign a film on the merit of the script and the fact that I like the storyline and my character. Period,” says the actor. The Deol boy surely has a lot of guts and the honesty to call a spade a spade. We wonder how many of our actors will be able to emulate him.
