Washington: Robin Williams’ longtime publicist has said that the late actor was not involved in any financial troubles that may have led to the actor’s apparent suicide.
Williams’ publicist Mara Buxbaum asserted that the ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ actor had no financial problems and they should be blessed to have actor’s financial status, Contactmusic reported.
According to Buxbaum, Williams frequently said things “in jest” which did not translate in print, and the comedian took on the Tv gig because of show creator David E. Kelley and the material, and not to earn more money.
According to Forbes magazine, Williams’ net worth was an estimated 50 million dollars.
