Akshay Kumar who is gearing up for the release of ‘Kesari’ is one of the highest tax payers in the country and his Housefull costar Riteish Deshmukh just revealed to the internet why.
Recently Parineeti Chopra, Akshay’s Kesari co-star during an interview said she lost a lot of money to the actor while playing cards on set. On why Akshay asked her when is she actually going to pay him the owed money.
And responding to the same, the actress then took to Twitter and uploaded a picture of her paying Akshay back, which started a an entire full-fledged conversation between Akshay and Riteish on Twitter.
Riteish taking a dig at his buddy said all this extra money is the reason why he has to pay a lot of tax. “Now you guys know how @akshaykumar becomes the highest taxpayer in the country. We the co-actors contribute heavily. He has the most innovative games … he can have his own mini-Olympics.”
To which Akshay challenged Riteish to a game of Ludo which he will use to earn more money, ‘Thank you. That reminds me, what are you doing this afternoon? How about a game of Ludo.’
Riteish humoring the internet replied, ‘Nooooo !!!! Only if you play LUDO blind folded ….. wait!!! Even then the odds are not in my favour.’
Pooja Hedge also chimed into Riteish a hope, she said she beat the Khiladi not once but twice at the game. Akshay asked her to hold the record tight as there are promotions of Housefull 4 coming up.
Akshay Kumar next release ‘Kesari’ will release on Holi, March 21. The film presented by Dharma Productions is based on the Battle of Saragarhi (in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897).
His upcoming movies are, ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Good News’ with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ and another sequel to the comedy classic ‘Hera Pheri’.
