Rishi Kapoor last year flew to New York, to undergo treatment, which the actor had called as wear and tear after years of life. He hadn’t disclosed the disease he is suffering from, but rumours suggested he was battling cancer. However, filmmaker Rahul Rawail announced the good news on his Facebook post stating the actor is now cancer free.
Rawail in a Facebook post on Tuesday, wrote, “RISHI KAPOOR (CHINTU) is CANCER FREE!!!!” and shared a picture with the veteran actor. Take a look:
Fans have been speculating if the actor indeed was suffering from Cancer, Neetu Kapoor’s New Year’s post first started the speculations, it read, “Happy 2019 no resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health”
When Randhir Kapoor was asked about his younger brother battling from cancer he insisted, he is doing well and that is all he can say. “I don’t know much about it but this much I can tell you that (Rishi Kapoor) is doing well, that’s all. Let people say whatever they want to. That he is doing well is evident from the photos that I, too, have seen… He will soon be coming back to India. We are looking forward to that right now.”
Fans are rejoicing Rahul Rawail’s post and hope the Mulk actor returns home soon.
