Ranveer Singh who had been promoting a condom brand for the past five years, will no longer be endorsing it. A recent report in Forbes India suggests that the actor and the company have parted ways “amicably.” Furthermore, the possible reason is said to be Singh’s demand of a higher fee or his marital status.
The brand also congratulated Ranveer who married long-time girlfriend Deepika Padukone last year in a tweet that read, “We’ve got you covered. Congrats Deepika & Ranveer for officially putting a ring on it.”
Ranveer is one of the few mainstream actors who chose to endorse a sinking condom brand. Meanwhile on the work front, the actor is basking in the success of his films Simmba and Gully Boy which made it big on the box office. His next project is Kabir Khan’s ’83, which is based on India’s historic win at the 1983 World Cup under the captainship of Kapil Dev, where he is playing the titular role. It is slated to hit the screens on April 10 next year.
