Ranbir Kapoor did not mince any words or outrightly deny the affair. He said that it is very new so ‘let it cook for a bit’. He also described being in love and how it changes a person. Overall, he confirmed that right now, Alia Bhatt is what is ‘flowing’ in his life. She, as a person, and her work inspires him.

Ranbir Kapoor has a legacy to live up to. He is the heir, in the most traditional sense, of the formidable RK Studios banner and the recent damage done by the fire has affected him along with his family. When asked if he would want to revive the RK banner and take up filmmaking he said, “I find the word “revival” a bit pompous. RK Studios was what it was because of my grandfather – I don’t think I have the talent or the storytelling abilities to fly that particular flag. If I want to produce, I’ll definitely start something new, which I tried with Jagga Jasoos, with Anurag Basu. If I direct a movie, I’ll probably produce it, but not under the RK Studios banner.”

Ranbir is a recluse by choice and does not appear on social media because he does not want to get affected by that kind of attention.
