Ranbir Kapoor who is already playing the role of the protagonist Shamshera in Karan Malhotra’s directorial, will also be playing the role of his father in the film.
According to a report in Mid-day, “The film narrates the story of a dacoit tribe that is fighting for its rights and independence from the British rule. Apart from essaying the role of the protagonist, Ranbir might also be seen playing the central character’s father. He has been shooting for both the roles simultaneously, and this is the first time in his career that he will be playing a double role.”
For those unaware, Shamshera also stars Sanjay Duttt and Vaani Kapoor. While Vaani plays a dancer in the film, Sanjay Dutt is playing the main antagonist.
