After ‘Samrat & Co’, Rajeev Khandelwal would be seen in an International film. The boy who used to be the heartthrob ofsmall screen has taken cinema by a storm and he is all set to go International with his next project, ‘Salt Bridge’ which is an Indo-Australian film.
The film is directed by Australia based Indian Abhijit Deonath and would be based on the life of an Indian man and his relationship with an Australian woman which constantly faces hurdles owing to the cultural differences. The buzz is that Abhijit initially was hesitant to offer the part to Rajeev but soon he changed his mind. We have heard that Khandelwal would be playing the role of an Indian man with values.
The film is being made for international film festivals but it will surely have a widespread release in India too. ‘Salt Bridge’ would also star actors from New Zealand Chelsie Preston along with Indian actress Usha Jadhav and is to be extensively shot in Sydney and Canberra. More power to you Rajeev!
