One of the deadliest, the Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, rocked the entire nation which also triggered angry protests against Pakistan. In the wake of the horrifying terror attack, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has pulled down all the Pakistani songs from their YouTube channel, said reports.
As reported by the Press Trust of India, the film wing of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) asked music label companies to stop working with Pakistani singers. They now claim that T-series’ collaborations with the musicians were removed after MNS issued a warning to the company. “They have removed their songs (from the company’s YouTube channel) post our warning,” Amey Khopkar, head of the MNS Chitrapat Sena told Press Trust of India.
T-Series had recently collaborated with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for two different singles. T-Series removed its recently released songs — Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s single and Atif Aslam’s “Baarishein” from YouTube. The promotions of these songs on television and radio have also been stopped.
A stream of film and music artists in India have strongly condemned the terror attack by Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, which left at least 45 troopers dead. The Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE) and its 24 crafts of the film and television industry, will hold a solidarity march at the Film City gate here from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday to pay respects to the martyrs and their families.
