Priyanka Chopra has been juggling acting and her newfound love for singing quite successfully for a while now. From being a Miss World, to a successful Indian actor and now an international music artist, she has done it all. PC, as she is fondly called by her fans, is all set for her forthcoming film release, GUNDAY and this is not the end of it. Chopra, who has another separate career altogether in LA, is ready to roll with her third single on the way called, ‘I can’t make you love me’ which was originally sung by Bonnie Raitt in 1911.
“She (Raitt) is one of the reasons why I became a singer. My cover is really different because the original is a ballad and we have used dance music for my version of the song,” said the recently turned singer, Priyanka.
This would be the third song from her album that has ‘In My City’ and ‘Exotic’ which are supposedly still topping the charts. The video is directed by Jeff Nicholas and Jonathan Craven, who recently directed Rihanna’s music video.
PC even happens to be the face of GUESS and is the only GUESS girl who is an Indian and flaunts it well too. Well, if you’ve got it, you surely can flaunt it! Her GUESS campaign had been shot by none other than Bryan Adams for over 200 fans.
“GUESS has always had these beautiful blonde women as their brand ambassadors and I am really happy that I am the first GUESS girl of a different ethnicity. I always like to do things better than what I have done before. That is what I am aiming at. I just really enjoyed shooting the campaign which was shot by Bryan Adams,” said Priyanka.
