Good news for music lovers, Pritam is back to the studios and recording! Yes, the music director who holidayed for a good long year is back to doing what he does best, making music and giving his fans the rhythm of life.
The fuzzy-faced music director is starting off with Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil’, this year. The filmmaker who was sorely missed the whole of 2014, had many of his fans resorting to his 2013 hits from ‘R… Rajkumar’ and ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, to keep the parties alive.
Clearly seeing him back into the studios the expectations have been soaring already. After all it has been 14 years in this industry, and with all said and done about him, there is no-one who has shown enough mettle to topple this eccentric Bengali music director.
When asked what according to him are his strengths that keep the filmmakers coming to him, what makes him the first choice, Pritam replied, “It’s because of my work and my hardwork. Usually God never gives creativity and luck, both to just one person. But it is a fact, that I have both by the grace of God. I also don’t leave any stone unturned. The truth about industry is that everytime it is the composer who has to compromise and has to listen producer and director but for good songs I fight back. There are two theories to my view on music. The lyrics and the melody, I do not compromise in them.”
