A much delayed project ‘Deewana Mein Deewana’ by director KC Bokadia, starring Priyanka Chopra and Govinda is all set to see the light of the day.
Stories of Bollywood stars attending weddings and making a fast buck has been seen and heard from time to time. In the wake of the same during a promotional press meet of this film, a stalled movie of Priyanka Chopra and Govinda which is now set to release, director Bokadia gave some insight innocently.
All praises for Priyanka and Shah Rukh Khan, with whom he has worked in the past, Bokadia said, “I am humbled by the way Khan and Priyanka have obliged me by not taking some money from their remuneration.” Giving away the secrets of the stars who make money while attending the weddings to make a fast buck in a fit of excitement, Bokadia said, “I remember when Shah Rukh did a film with me years ago. He refused to take Rs 55 lakh and had said then, ‘Bokadia saab, I will not take this money. I know you will take this amount from some financer on interest. I do understand the apathy of the producers. It will just be a one night work for me. I could attend a wedding and get this amount’.”
