Anil Kapoor’s ‘24’ has been a revelation on television, sending the TRPs into a tizzy especially for fiction shows. Now his production house is aiming to go on a roll. Though it is a long-term plan that was initiated with ‘My Wife’s Murder’, Anil wants to continue making films which he believes in. Next on the charts is a sequel of his 2001 film, ‘Nayak’, in which he played a journalist who attempts to set the country right in a day, as a challenge to the political scenario. The film was said to have stirred the audience considerably and, according to the actor, with the Aam Aadmi Party stepping into the political scenario, Anil feels it is the most appropriate time to come out with the sequel. Though the work on the sequel will start only by the end of this year, rumours suggest that the film’s protagonist will share a resemblance with AAP leader, Kejriwal. There have been no confirmations suggesting his ‘Nayak’ co-star Rani Mukerji will or will not be a part of this film.
