Kedarnath trailer was out today, and it is gaining positive response from the fans. However, one man from the trailer went unnoticed, Nitish Bharadwaj, who is playing Sara Ali Khan’s father in the film. Nitish can be spotted in the trailer only for few seconds. But when we talk about him, he is better known as Lord Krishna, the role which gained him humongous following in late ‘80s. Nitish was playing Krishna in BR Chopra’s Mahabharat, which earned him huge respect among audience. However, when we see the actor now, he has totally changed and almost unrecognisable in the trailer.
Mahabharat was one of the most watched TV shows of its time. All the characters from Mahabharat became overnight sensations after the show. Talking about Nitish he has done many Bollywood films. Before Kedarnath he was seen in Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’.
Talking about Kedarnath trailer which was released today, it touches upon the love story between Sushant a Muslim boy and Sara a Hindu girl. As they are from different religious backgrounds their relationship is termed as unacceptable by people around. Apart from that, the trailer shows the magnificent beauty of Uttarakhand captured beautifully in the lens.
Recently, Kedarnath was in the news as some fringe groups were opposing it. According to them the movie promotes Love Jihad. Even political parties are objecting to the film, Congress said that the film violates the beliefs of people and has inappropriate scenes which should be removed immediately. The movie is set against the backdrop of a catastrophic deluge that hit the Himalayan shrine in 2013. The film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor. ‘Kedarnath’ is hitting the screens on December 7.
