Notice issued against Suniel Shetty for interfering daughter Athiya Shetty’s film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’

Father Suniel Shetty has said to be meddling in daughter Athiya Shetty’s upcoming rom-com, Motichoor Chaknachoor. The actress will be seen in the film alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui. With a lot riding on this project for the young actress, Suniel is adding fuel to the fire.

The makers and producers have accused Suniel Shetty of interfering in the matter of the film and have issued a public notice on March 13. The notice states, Rajesh and Kiran Bhatia (producers) are “the only final authority and decision-making authority on every aspect and or/every project of M/s Woodpecker Movies Pvt Ltd.” – according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.

It also warns Suniel Shetty that he has no authority of capacity to get involved in the project, while going on, during post production or its marketing campaign or else he will have to deal with consequences.

A tabloid reported the notice as, “Mr Suniel Shetty has no right, title and/or interest in the said film and has no capacity or any authority to either directly or indirectly discuss or take any decisions, negotiate, strategise or overlook the edit or in any manner interfere or be involved with the film Motichoor Chaknachoor or with its cast, crews, technical teams or coordinate with the studio involved with the film or its creative and marketing teams or post productions or any person connected or with the trade. If done so, it shall be considered as trespassing and breach of confidentiality at its own risk, cost and consequences.”

Athiya Shetty’s debut release, (2015) Hero with Sooraj Pancholi, failed at box office while her next release Mubarakan with Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor saved face. However the actress hasn’t spoken about the public notice issued to her father yet.
