Veteran actor Anupam Kher has been in the Indian film industry for over three decades now, but the veteran actor thinks that he has not yet reached even the “interval” stage of his career. “I have to continue for the next 30 years. I have not yet reached the interval stage of my career,” he said while talking to reporters recently.
The 59-year-old actor’s latest film ‘The Shaukeens’ hit the theatres on November 7. The comedy flick is directed by Abhishek Sharma and also stars actors Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon and Akshay Kumar.
To a query, Anupam Kher said that he was proud to have started his career with a film like ‘Saaransh’. The 1984 Mahesh Bhatt’s movie revolved around an elderly couple trying to come to terms the death of their only son. Talking about it, Kher said, “This film keeps me invigorated as an actor.” He further added saying that he would like to feature in a ‘Saaransh’-like film if it is made today.
