Bollywood actors have time and again surprised their fans by dropping a bag of surprises. Be it an affair, engagement or weddings, celebs try to go low profile until things get official. Same was the case of Neha Dhupia, who took everyone off-guard after the sudden revelation of her wedding to Angad Bedi.
The duo had tied the knot in a private ceremony on May 10 this year. There were no signs of this event coming as they had never been spotted together or scooped up any PDA. Recently in a conversation with Filmfare, Neha shared that she was amused to see her fans’ reactions. She said that she got 600 messages after her wedding and most of them were “what the f**k!” instead of congratulations”.
Her surprise wedding was always a decision from the beginning, she said, “Yes, it was a surprise to a lot of people. But Angad (Bedi) was clear from the beginning. He said, ‘You’re not someone with whom I want to be in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. So, either we turn this into marriage or we continue being just friends.’ I don’t believe it was hush-hush or secret as much as it was private. Both of us are private people.”
On the work front, Neha was last seen in Lust Stories and is currently hosting MTV Roadies. Her next project is in Kajol-starring film Eela, which is to release on September 7, 2018.
