London: Robin Williams, who committed suicide in August 2014, was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time of his suicide, it has been revealed.
A Marin County coroner’s report stated that the late 63-year-old actor died from asphyxia due to hanging, the BBC reported.
The Academy Award winning actor was found dead in his California home on 11th August, 2014 in what authorities soon ruled a suicide.
Williams was battling depression from a long time and apparently was last seen by his wife on 10th August, 2014.
Williams gained fame for roles in films namely ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ and ‘Good Will Hunting’.
