Nargis Fakhri is done being phased by her haters. The actress took to Instagram to inspire people who have been body shamed. Nargis, who in last two years had gained some weight, now says a healthy life style has helped her make some changes.
Nargis who was subjected to body shaming talked about her weight gain and loss in her recent post, she said, “Living life in the public eye can be very difficult sometimes. As much as it is a blessing, it also comes with its downside. Over the last 2 years, I’ve gained weight. On the left, I weighed 178 lbs [80 kg] and on the right, I was 129 [50 kg]. I have since lost 20 lbs [9 kg] through making lifestyle changes.”
“If I can do it, so can you. Nurture your mind, body, and soul with positive thoughts and healthy choices. I’m going to bring you on this journey of becoming the best version of myself again, and I want you to join me on this journey too,” added the actress.
Nargis made her debut with the 2011 release ‘Rockstar’ and was last seen in the 2019 horror release Amavas. She has also taken up Yoga and has been urging her fans to do the same through her posts. She has also been making changes in her work, she previously hinted she would love to try her hand at entrepreneurship. Her upcoming project includes Sanjay Dutt’s Torbaaz. The film is said to be about child suicide bombers in Afghanistan. Directed by Girish Malik the film also stars, Rahul Dev and Pransh Chopra.
