The much awaited movie Dangal has released its new song ‘Dhaakad’, the term ‘Dhaakad’ means powerful.
In this second song, Aamir Khan has trained his two daughters and made them enter the wrestling arena and his two little ones are smashing each man with ease .The song features Geeta and Babita Phogat playing wrestling in arena and Aamir Khan sitting in the audience cheering them.
The song is written by Amitabh Bhattyacharya and composed by Pritam, vocals lent by rapper Raftar.
The first song was ‘Haanikaarak Bapu’ which was released on Children’s Day. In the first song Aamir Khan as a wrestler is shown training his two daughters with discipline and grooming them as a future champion.
‘Dangal’ is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat played by Aamir Khan. Mahavir Singh Phogat taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta and Babita Kumari, shaping them as World Champions. While Geeta is India’s first female wrestler to win gold in Commonwealth Games, sister Babita won silver. ‘Dangal’ traces the life of father-daughter and their struggle against stereotypes as they enter a profession which mostly ruled by men.
Dangal is scheduled to release on 23 December 2016.
