Bollywood’s famous filmmaker Sajid Khan has been suspended for a year by IFTDA (Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association) over allegations of sexually harassing and assaulting a female employee at workplace.
As per news agency ANI tweet, “Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association suspends Sajid Khan for one year over sexual harassment complaints against him. #MeToo.”
In November IFDTA issued a show-cause notice to Khan demanding an explanation from his for his behaviour. In reply to the notice, Sajid denied all the allegations saying these have spoiled his professional and personal life.
To note, Sajid has also stepped down as a director of upcoming comedy movie ‘Housefull 4’ over sexual harassment allegations. Sajid was then replaced by Farhad Samji.
