Taimur Ali Khan’s popularity needs no introduction. From being paparazzi’s favourite to being the highest rated among the media for pictures, the kid is a rage. Recently, in Kerala, the doll inspired by Taimur was spotted. Wearing a white kurta, navy blue Nehru jacket and blue pants, the Taimur doll has gone viral. However, it seems like Taimur’s parents Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are expressing much concern for their dear child.
When asked about Taimur’s doll, papa Saif reacted by saying as Pinkvilla, “I am glad people are benefiting from him; the least they can do is send me one.” Not only Saif but Taimur’s mom Kareena too reacted with strong words. In an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, she said, “Taimur can’t run away from his popularity and neither can his parents. When I saw the doll, I wondered what was I supposed to say. But Saif pointed out that it is because people love him so much and such things are a blessing for him. There is so much genuine warmth for our son that it’s bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But, they should understand that he is a two-year-old child and needs a normal life. Both Saif and I are struggling to give him that and will continue to do so without telling the media to back off, no matter how annoying it gets after a point. It’s tough on him as it’s on Saif and me.”
Apart from Taimur’s doll, audiences got to know his rate card as well on the show Koffee With Karan 6. When Saif and Sara Ali Khan had appeared on the show, Karan revealed that paparazzi sells Taimur’s one picture at cost of Rs 1500 and more. This is quite surprising to see the popularity of Taimur. On the work front, Taimur’s mom Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen next in Good News starring Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. The movie is based on the theme of Surrogacy and children. It is being helmed by Raj Mehta and will release in 2019.
