The friendship of Karan Johar and Kajol is known since Kuch Kuch Hota Hai days. The duo have been friends for years, until a friction that happened between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar when their films Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The actress then came out in support of her husband Ajay Devgn and a cold war brewed up between the filmmaker and the actress. But all those are a thing of the past! Letting bygones be bygones, the forthcoming episode of Koffee With Karan will feature this ‘it’ couple of Bollywood coming together and also some interesting conversations, revelations are on the cards!
If reports are to be believed, we hear that Karan Johar went on to ask Ajay Devgn if they can be friends now. While Ajay agreed to it with a slight nod, Kajol immediately added that no they can’t be, because she is Karan’s friend. On the other hand, the discussion varied from different topics, from Ajay Devgn confessing about being an introvert to Kajol’s shopping habits.
Ajay Devgn maintained that he prefers to stay indoors and dislikes parties and functions and even award ceremonies. Karan questioned if it was social anxiety, to which the actor responded that may be he is right! However, Kajol called it sheer laziness.
On the other hand, Karan explained about the thrifty shopping habits of Kajol who rarely flaunts designer labels. Not surprisingly, Ajay Devgn agreed to the statements further giving his tid-bits about his wife and her shopping style. According to them, the DDLJ actress likes to pick up clothes from strange Santacruz stores to online shopping. Ajay Devgn believes that the actress is addicted to online shopping and frequently purchases products ranging from Rs. 500 to 1200. He elaborated that he often finds about seven to eight parcels arriving each day and she flaunts to him about something worth Rs. 600 with pride, because of its cheap rates.
Kajol agreed to these habits further adding that she hates extravagant purchases when something like that easily available for lesser rates. She also confessed that she likes to wear branded designer ones only for public appearances but on a personal level, it is all about comfort for her. She also revealed that expensive stuff stresses her out because she needs to be careful around them and hence prefers such stuff.
Looks like all the revelations on the show are only making us more curious to catch the episode of the show!
