After Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas’ International love, it seems Athiya Shetty is following the footsteps of Piggy chops as the ‘Mubarakan’ star is rumoured to be dating American rapper Drake. Though it is not confirmed, the rapper gave a major hint of their alleged relationship on Athiya Shetty’s 26th birthday by calling her ‘My Shetty’ on Instagram. When Athiya shared a picture of her birthday celebration on Instagram, Drake shared a special birthday wish in a comment section which indicates their relationship could be more than just virtual PDA.
In the post, Athiya wrote, “This one was extra special and happy indeed. Thank you for all the love, wishes, and blessings. I truly feel so tremendously grateful and special.” Interestingly, soon after she posted a picture, Drake replied in a comment section which reads, “Happy birthday to my Shetty a true Goddess. Guess who is watching Mubakaran 3 times on the tour bus in your honour.”
This is not the first time that Drake is expressing his love for Athiya. Earlier, the rumours were doing the rounds stating the duo might be dating each other but nobody confirmed the same.
Meanwhile, Athiya is currently busy shooting for her upcoming Motichoor Chaknachoor opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. On the other hand, Drake is currently riding high on the cusses of his album Scorpion which has already reached Gold status and Platinum status in many nations.
