Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie ‘Kesari’ undoubtedly is one of the most awaited movies of this year. Kumar is making sure that he gives glimpse of his upcoming movie to fans. So today the actor took to his social media handle and posted a glimpse of the movie on his Twitter handle, Akshay Kumar wrote , “It’s an UNBELIEVABLE TRUE STORY. Presenting the first one from the #GlimpsesOfKesari. #KesariTrailer21Feb”.
The video shows Afghani soldiers running in to fight the Sikh warriors who are ready to face one of the toughest stand-alone battles the world has ever seen. The trailer of the film will release on 21 February, exactly one month prior to the release of the film.

Earlier this morning the actor also posted new poster of the film on his Insatgram and wrote,”Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari, jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi Kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari.”
Kesari, which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, also features Parineeti Chopra in a pivotal role. The battle was fought between the British Indian Army that consisted of 21 Sikh Soldiers and Afghan Orakzai Tribesmen in North-West Frontier Province.
Earlier, the makers also revealed Akshay and Parineeti’s first look from the film. Parineeti shared the look on Twitter and wrote, “Anytime I watched a war movie, it was the love story of those brave men that kept me going.. so proud to be a part of this epic experience!!! Thank you Akshay sir, Kjo and Anurag sir for allowing me to be a part of your vision. You all have made one of the most beautiful movies people will ever see!! People – Don’t miss it on 21st March 2019!!!”
Talking about his role in the movie, Akshay Kumar earlier said, “I have been shooting for ‘Kesari’ since the last one and a half months, and every time that I wear the taaj (turban) on my head, I am filled with pride.”
