We have learnt that actor Kay Kay Menon was injured during a running sequence in the snow while shooting for ‘Haider’ in Pahalgam. What’s more, we hear that the actor slipped and had severe internal bleeding in his hamstring.
Yet rather than even taking a few hours off, being the professional that he is, Kay Kay continued shooting for the film and even went down to Srinagar following the incident, to complete the schedule there!
It’s being said that the actor had a back to back schedule due to which he had no time to see a specialist. In fact he even had to fly out of India to Sri Lanka to complete shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ at the same time.
According to sources, the actor continued his shoot plans for the next three months against the doctor’s one-month bed rest advisory.
On being asked about these developments, Kay Kay said in a statement, “Yes it’s true but I just couldn’t let my hamstring injury mess up schedules for three films. At the time I was shooting for ‘Haider’ in Kashmir, ‘Bombay Velvet’ in Sri Lanka and ‘Raja Natwarlal’ in Mumbai. I just couldn’t put so many people under stress by taking time off.” Looks like the actor surely has a professional streak!
