Kareena appreciates Anurag…

Kareena Kapoor Khan feels that she has found a friend in Anurag Kashyap recently. Now if this is a sarcastic comment or a literal one, that’s for you to decide. Recently Anurag Kashyap was invited by Karan Johar to his couch of denial on ‘Koffee With Karan’ to sip that brewing coffee and spill all those beans.

When the conversation went on to our darling Bebo, the very blatant Anurag Kashyap without having any qualms said that Kareena Kapoor Khan should do a film because of what it is and not because of who it has. Well, that was quite a remark to make!

Bebo tried to take it in the right spirit and did not get offended by it like many have, calling it the post ‘Koffee With Karan’ syndrome. But Her Highness Kareena reacted to it like a true lady from the palace of Pataudi would and said, “Anurag is absolutely right and I should pay heed to this. My sister Karisma and husband Saif follow this norm but I am the kind who does a movie driven by impulse. But hereafter I will focus on the story, and I wish this advice had come from a friend than someone who does not know me too well, but am glad I found a friend without having to seek one.”

Kareena would be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham 2’ with Ajay Devgn where she would play a Maharashtrian and seems quite excited about it. She would soon start work on BOMBAY SAMURAI as well. Talking about one of the biggest projects that Bebo had in her kitty, she is disappointed about Hrithik Roshan opting out of Karan Malhotra’s ‘Shuddhi’.

The film was written keeping Hrithik in mind and now till the time the makers find a replacement, Kareena would not push other projects and wait instead. “It was made with Hrithik in mind. People were so keen to see us together and with Hrithik not in it, I’m sure people are disappointed but I’m sure we will come back soon in some film,” said Bebo. All of us are disappointed about this reportage but let’s hope things fall into place and ‘Shuddhi’ is made with the cast that it was planned with.
