He was even rumoured to have been in rehab to get rid of his drinking problems. Luckily, the actor gained control back on his life and after taking a short break, step by step he regained his popularity.
So from issuing public apology to getting married, here are the five things that helped Kapil Sharma to get all the love back which he at one time was on the verge of losing.
Marrying Ginni Chatrath
There is no second thought when someone says that behind every successful man is a woman and Kapil and Ginni’s relationship is a big proof of that. While we don’t take away the credit from Kapil for his hard work, we can’t deny the fact that it was after marrying Ginni, the comedian become a calmer and mature person.
In fact we have also heard that it was Ginni who strictly said to Kapil that he has to quit alcohol before marriage as the comedian has faced many issues in past due to his drinking problems.
Mending bridges
It can be noticed that during his second innings in the entertainment industry, the first thing which Kapil Sharma did was to issue public apology to Sunil Grover. For those unaware, Kapil during a fight in an airplane threw a shoe at Sunil Grover and even hurled abuses on him after which the latter quit the show Comedy Nights with Kapil.

Not only that, he soon understood that it’s not possible for him to run a comedy show just on his own shoulders. That’s the reason, after Grover’s exit, Kapil made sure that he had the best comedians on his show even if it meant keeping his ego aside with Krushna Abhishek whom Kapil had mocked in past.

The one thing which always irked the celebrities who used to visit at Kapil’s show for their films promotion was that he always made them wait and not for few minutes but for hours. This irked the celebrities so much that a lot of them have even canceled their respective promotions and have just walked out of the sets.

The new Kapil Sharma has also become very cautious about the choice of his words and actions. Be it his comedy or the way he now addresses media, Kapil now thinks twice before speaking or doing anything.
Quitting alcohol
Probably it was the most important thing for Kapil to do. It was because of the excessive consumption of alcohol that his health was getting deteriorated so much so that it was rumoured that he was in a rehab center to recover. It was also stated that during his fight with Sunil he was under a huge influence of alcohol. For sure giving up on alcohol, was the best decision taken by him.
