This is a rather strange piece of news to have been come out… Salman Khan, whose films create a roar at the box office, might have to face a slight difficulty this time. His starrer ‘Jai Ho’, which is a political thriller about a common man who gets successful at foiling an assassination bid against the Chief Minister, seems to have irked the Censor Board a little. The makers have been permitted to release the film with a U\A certificate and some cuts. This happens to be the first time that a Salman Khan film has been out with cuts and not a Universal certificate.
Sources reveal that some of the references to real life politicians could have made certain current personalities in the political scenario a bit uncomfortable. What’s more, some action sequences have been removed as well, which were also making the film a tad too lengthy.
Well, this again is the first time that a Salman film has had such reports, but keeping all fingers crossed lets wish this one roars wild at the box office.
The film stars Salman Khan, Tabu and Daisy Shah in pivotal roles and is directed by Sohail Khan.
