Choreographer Shabina was in for a surprise when Juhi decided to celebrate her birthday on the sets of ‘Chalk N Duster’.
The actress surprised Shabina with a birthday cake and also gathered all the crew members to wish her on her special day. Shabina was full of smiles throughout the day. Sources close to the producers tell us that, she was very pleased when they told her that she would be celebrating her birthday with everyone associated with the film.
The choreographer was busy, most of the day, instructing everyone with the dance steps. But in the morning itself, Juhi told her that she knew it was her birthday and there`s no escape now! She’ll have to celebrate it with all of them, which made her laugh. Her birthday was a low key affair with a few cast and crew members, including actor Samir Soni, producer Subash Singh, director Jayant Gilatar, lyrics by Javed Akhtar, music by Sandesh Shandilya & DOP Baba Azmi.
The movie also stars actresses Shabana Azmi, Zarina Wahab, Divya Dutta in major roles along with Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff and Arya Babbar in pivotal roles. The movie is about teachers, the education system and the commercialization of the system in the country, and focuses on the plight of teachers.
‘Chalk N Duster’ is written by Ranjeev Varma and directed by Jayant Gilatar. The movie is produced by Subhash Singh and Sonali Singh under the 3S Creations banner.
