While we were still getting used to Bollywood’s star-studded wedding of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, the Ambanis have caught eyes around their daughter’s engagement saga.
The couple Isha Ambani, and Anand Piramal declared their desire to tie the knot on Sunday, May 6 after Anand proposed at Mahabaleshwar.
The announcement was followed by an engagement bash last night, where mommy Nita Ambani alongside daughter Isha stole the show with their dazzling performance on ‘Nach De Ne Saare’ from Baar Baar Dekho.
The night was young as Bollywood’s ace personalities made their presence at the event. The Ambani residence saw many of their close friends in attendance. These included Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Karan Johar who arrived straight from Sonam Kapoor’s sangeet ceremony.
Also present at the ceremony were, Anand’s parents, Isha’s grandparents, Kokilaben Ambani and Purnimaben Dalal, Isha’s twin brother Akash, younger brother Anant, Anand’s sister Nandini, Peter, Anya, Dev and other family members were also there.
The bride to be, Isha, looked stunning in a gold and white lehenga.
Isha’s brother Akash Ambani also got engaged recently to long-time girlfriend Shloka Mehta. Weddings of both Isha and Akash will be organised in December this year.
