It was a star-studded night on December 1 when Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hosted a grand reception and party for their industry friends. From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan, Rekha to Asha Parekh, Varun Dhawan to Arjun Kapoor, Katrina Kaif to Anushka Sharma, and many more came to congratulate and celebrate the new beginnings of the newlyweds.
Amitabh Bachchan was seen interacting with Ranveer Singh and even danced with him on the beats of ‘Jooma Chumma De De’. Then, came the turn of King Khan, who arrived post 1 am for the celebrations. Ranveer and Deepika were absolutely delighted to see SRK as the trio grooved to the beats of his hit track, ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’. Varun Dhawan was seen doing the hook step of ‘Tan Tana Tan’ with Ranveer as the party continued till wee hours.
The grand celebration was attended by Karan Johar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Waheeda Rahman, Shilpa Shetty, Athiya Shetty, Ahan Shetty, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Sanjay Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Farah Khan, Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Sophie Choudry, Sonakshi Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha, Karisma Kapoor among others.
Sports stars Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Kapil Dev, Sunil Chetri were also in attendance. Guru Randhawa, Honey Singh, Kunal Kemmu, Soha Ali Khan, Pooja Hegde, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dia Mirza, Vidya Balan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Rhea Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Boney Kapoor were also some of the guests who attended the celebrations.
After the Lake Como wedding following Konkani and Sindhi rituals on November 14-15, the couple hosted two receptions one in Bengaluru and another one in Mumbai. There was also a DJ party hosted by Ranveer’s sister Ritika Bhavnani.
