Indian actress Radikaa Sarathkumar escapes Sri Lanka Easter bomb blast

On Easter morning in Sri Lanka major churches and five-star hotels were targeted. In the aftermath that hit Colombo the death toll has risen to 290, adding around 500 people left critically injured after the attacks. While people in deep shock took to their social media account to condemn the attacks, Kollywood actress Radikaa Sarathkumar shared she was staying in one the bombed hotels and just left moments before it took place.

She expressed her shock and gratitude to god for saving her life in a tweet, on the social media platform. Her tweet read, “OMG bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, god be with all. I just left Colombo Cinnamon Grand Hotel and it has been bombed, can’t believe this shocking.”

Radikaa is known for her roles in films like Suryavamsam, Theri, Abhilasha, Poojai, Maari and more. Many other celebrities took to share their disdain about the attacks on social media. Bollywood celebrities like, Anushka Sharma, Alia Bhatt, Jacqueline Fernandez tweeted on the events.
